If there are responses that cover what I would have posted I either click "like" in that response or just back out and go on. I also tend to check to see when the last post was posted, we have resurrected older threads by members not checking the thread dates and answering a thread thats 6 years old.

Yea that is the one that gets me at times is the older threads. I try to read the previous responses but sometimes just post my thoughts. It at times hits people in different ways and they take them as they see fit. The phrase check the search feature is one that blows people minds here for some reason. I have mentioned this many times here and again some people are so sensitive but the main reason is most questions have been asked and answered a hundred times here and that is ok. But I know myself if it is one of those how do you do a CA finish or like, many times the answers get more and more abbreviated each time. Things get left out and it is just the nature. So if you take the time and do a search you can easily find answers with more detail. This forum is full of knowledge from different eras as it has become. So new methods have been developed and that is a good thing so that is where asked and answered questions can become a good thing. New members are joining every day. But again we are not google.

I like to read the responses and try not to repeat what has been said unless I feel like reinforcing/supporting the answer. I might not read every post but want to get feel for my response.

I want to compliment the IAP members for staying on track. I'm on billiard forum that after the 3rd post the subject goes off topic, disputes, arguments, bashing takeover.

I try to read prior responses. There are times when someone else is writing their response at the same time I am writing mine, and this has sometimes resulted in redundant thoughts. Not very often though.
