I have tried crushing tourquise and mixing it with glue to fill gap or cracks in a few pens. I have been crushing it using a hammer and a brick. Has anyone come up with any better ways to crush stone. The hammer and brick is ok but I can't seem to get a consistent size.

We used to use grain grinders. But then we sifted the results through a series of nesting sieves like the ones in the picture. I picked up a set with plastic rings for about $20 for clasifiing soils but I don't remember were I bought them. You could make a set if you can find different size screens. I use mine for sifting saw dust for filling voids.
