Beautiful pen, great finish. :good::good::good: I love it. It is on my "to make" list. I read an article on Woodturning Design magazine 2009 Fall issue by Barry Gross.

I just managed to locate a hobby shop that sells hole abalone shell.

Great looking pen . Make sure you use some sort of dust control and a respirator when working with Abalone and some other shells . The dust is very bad for your health .
