Well, when I posted almost 4 years ago that I was told I had Crohns, I got a lot of encouragement from members here, part of what makes this a great group. So an update, I have been blessed to be symptom free, but hadn't cared for my doctors attitude about it so I switched docs. All previous scopes showed irritated colon. Went in for one Monday (two years since last one) and was clean! Nothing! PTL. No meds, see ya in 5 years. Thanks, just had to share.

Great Paul, stay relaxed and dont let life get you stressed and get plenty of sleep and you will enjoy a long symptom free life. Take it from a fellow Crohns sufferer, being symptom free is really something to celebrate. I have been symptom free for almost 9 years until I let the stress get to me this year and sure enough I had my first attach in 9 years. So I am working on getting back to my zen place. Hence the name of my business My Pen Place.

Best wishes,
Ray

Got to work on the sleep thing, still don't get enough. I understand on the stress. Let that build up before, even changed jobs. That worked for a while then got worked like crazy, so went back, but with a better attitude and outlook. So far so good!

Paul, that is great to hear, my wife is suffering with Chrons and has for most of her life. She just managed to get approved (through my drug plan at work) for Humera. We are hopeful that this will delay any surgery for a long time. Staying calm and rested seemd to help a lot
