Creating segmented blanks (best glue)

Hey Folks,

What is the best glue to use in crafting segmented blanks, either wood to wood, or Tru-stone, or acrylics, or aluminum? Thanks.

I have always used CA, thick, with good luck. When becoming exotic (copper to ebony0 Gorilla glue works nicely.

I use the Gorilla white wood glue with good success.

Another vote for thick CA if your going mixed medium. If going wood to wood, good old fashioned wood glue works best.

For wood to wood I use tite bond wood glue with great results. with dissimilar materials either CA (medium or thick to fill any gaps) or poly urethane glues work well. Be careful with the poly urethane glues as these expand (like foam) quite a bit and can show glue lines easily.
