It's been a bizarre year for the weather here. Now to top it off it's been in the mid to high 70's here for about a week. Yesterday it was 83. I get up for work at 4am this morning and it's a very frigid 33 degrees. The high only got up to 42. So much for getting all my casting done. Really can't wait for it to get in the 100's with 1000% humidity.

Ernie, just what do you expect. How dare you complain about KY weather? Just give it 5 more minutes and it will change for something worse. Get your map out and see where you live. Believe it or not, Louisville is still in KY inspite of what all the rest of the state can do.

I know, the same here in the forgotten part of the state. Grin and bear it. Gotta love KY or move.

I started yesterday morning at home in a snow storm with about 6" on the ground and then freezing rain and more snow expected. I took off for Kentucky (Erlanger) because I had a meeting there this morning. After an hour the roads were ice free and by the time I hit the border there was no snow. Going through Ohio I went through a tornado warning area, severe thunderstorm watch, went from warm to cold and windy during these warnings and then ended up in Kentucky where I was shedding my winter coat and putting on the AC. I don't think I've ever gone through that much change in weather in 7 hours. Of course when I got up this morning as Ernie mentioned it was pretty darn cold compared to last night. Now I'm back in snow land.

Well we now have snow on the ground this morning:mad:. So much for the sunshine and 80 degree days we had 4 days ago.
