I got another CraigsList score today. A guy was moving and he was selling his RIDGID Oscillating EdgeBelt Spindle Sander EB4424 for $25:biggrin:. It was missing all of the spindles and throat plates for the spindles but the belt was almost brand new and it works great. I can get the spindles and throat plates off of Amazon. I plan on using this to square off the end of my blanks.

Nice find! On much of the stuff I see listed the people are asking retail and sometimes higher than retail, especially for "vintage" tools. You have to keep your eyes open and act fast when a good buy shows up.

Nice find! I personally enjoy perusing the local pawn shops and harassing them on prices. I found a Jet JWL 1236 in pretty rough shape listed for $800....I offered $100, and told them I'd come back in a month to follow up on my offer. I wish I could afford the space and spare cash to make an offer on a Shop Fox M1112 on the local CL. New is $4200+, this one is listed with quite a bit of tooling for $2500. Why is it that the great deals happen when the cash just isn't there?
