I have a Craftsman fitting, and someone gave me some attatchments off of a delta lathe. I got a chuck, and some plates, as well as some other things, but was wondering if anyone has come across a piece in their travels about the internet that would go from a female part that would fit a craftsman lathe shaft to a male fitting that would be the same as a delta lathe shaft? If you might could point me in the right direction, or had something like that around, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Check out Grizzly.Or pot what size the are and someone here might have a spare. But what your looking for is an adapter.

I'm not sure just what size the delta is but the craftsman is more than likely 3/4.

Just about all the turning supply vender's carry them.Good luck on your hunt.

Yes, the Craftsman is 3/4" and 16 TPI. I am not sure about the delts, but I do know it is 1 inch. Any of ya'll have one of these laying around?

Your right Fernhills, I need a barracuda, but the 139.99 is a little steep for a newly worn out thumb. I'm trying to gear up for my return slowly though. The adapter in the bottom right will have to sufice I guess.

Do you not have a chuck that would fit the craftsman without an adapter? or are you just trying to make what was given to you usuable.

I do not have a chuck for the craftsman, I'm trying to make what was given to me work. I was given a chuck and some other stuff, that was all for a delta lathe.

I have this chuck fits a 3/4 16 thread, I believe its off an old craftsman lathe I used to have. Yours for the cost of postage if you want it. Its to large to go small flat rate. First class would probably be cheaper than med flat rate. It takes a square drive key to adjust the jaws which I have I just didnt take a picture of it. Mike
