Want to trade? I've got a used Copy Crafter that I removed from my 12" Craftsman lathe--the one with the pipe that supports the tool rest and tail-stock.

The unit attaches to the bench to which your lathe is attached and then uses a cutter running along a template to duplicate things. (Manual from vintagemachinary.org is attached. I have the original hard copy.)

I think I have everything including the hardware, an extra cutter (unused, I believe), the manual and some templates made by the previous owner.

Trade for??? I dunno. It's just taking up studio space now that I've removed it from the lathe. Pen stuff? Interesting projects? Wood?

The unit is not light, so local to the Balto-Wash area is a plus, I guess, but if I ship it, buyer pays shipping.

Regards,
Jerry George

I am tentatively interested. What is the weight of this unit?

Now when it comes to trades about the only interesting things I have are cherry burls and white spruce burls. Of course i could always trade $$ too.

Mike,
It looks like it weigh about 40 pounds or maybe a bit more with packaging. There's one on eBay that says 22 pounds but it seems heavier to me. I'm not sure what I would have to do to ship it up to you, although it shouldn't prove that difficult.
