A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to spend another day with Jonathon Brooks to continue my education in the world of kitless. The result was a small fountain pen you can see in the pictures below. The pictures definitely do not do the blank justice. The way this thing sparkles and changes color in sunlight is incredible. As always Jonathon and Shea were great hosts and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Jonathon is a great teacher and is very giving of his time and skill.

Still looks awesome Mike! Glad you were able to get some pics posted. Yall are welcome back anytime. That day was a lot of fun. I took a few pics with my cell so here they are:

Very nicely done Mike!

We all need to invade Jonathon the next time he BBQ's and spend a good solid day shooting the breeze in front of the tools (and raiding his stash of blanks )

Who knows, maybe a new in-person collaborative creative challenge could emerge.

Hey that sounds good to me! Between Mike, Carl, and Tyson I don't think I'd have a single blank or pen (that means you Ty ) left!

I'm always up to do some BBQ! :eat:

Hey hey hey. Just because it's true doesn't mean I'm going to stop. But I like the idea of all getting together and shooting the breeze and turning pens.

BBQ and pen turning, two of my favorite things. I'm in. A day of collaboration would be a lot of fun. Don't worry Jonathon, we would give you enough warning so you could hide a few blanks for yourself.
