I don't know but is it just maybe me but i am not hearing alot of chatter on the different contests being run. You are almost 2 weeks into this and many of these contests will be closing in a few days.

Casters, we see many of you here all year round. Hope you entering these. Many ideas out there.

Pen stand and Pen box people this is the one I want to see take off and become a regular addition here. Bring it on.

The ever popular freestyle pen makers. Shock us people. Take it over the top.

Hopefully all the kids are doing their things too. Future pen turners and pen designers start at a young age. Bug your parents and get them to show you the way.

We know how the trivia contest is going. It is producing many winners and making us work.

The auctions started off with a bang so keeping up with that is fun too.

Great prizes and great fun for all. Lets talk it up some and have some fun.

I do have to say I think this guy Phil (firewhatfire) was a used car salesman in a past life. He shows up all over the place promoting his contest. He gets points for that.:biggrin:

We have enough entries in the "Casting 1 resin/polyclay" to give away 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and that about covers it. We need more contestants.

Working on several contests at the same time... as usual, it will go down to the wire and probably get entries in with 10-15 minutes to spare. I'm hoping Edgar delays the Puzzle Contest as that will take up most of my waking hours!:biggrin::tongue:

Yeah, that puzzle contest really screws up the turning time!

And John, quit reminding people to enter - I've got 2 of my 5 entries in already and should have the rest done today...just saying that you reminding people lessens the odds of my continuing my winning streak.

The BASH is the best month of the year for fun turning! Thanks Jeff.

And Good luck to all. I see this morning a flurry of activity in the contests and some good natured egging going on as usual. This is what makes this so much fun. All this and have fun with it. Time is running out. Lets make those that are running these contest earn their money.:biggrin: Then make it hard on us voters to pick those winners. No one is a loser when it comes to these contests. They test your skills up against your peers and lets you know how you are progressing and that is reward enough. Where else can you go and have this and as a bonus the chance to win nice prizes.
