Over at Woodturners of America they are having a "Beauty and the Beast" turning contest. These were my attempts, I thought they should contrast each other. The beast has 9 thorns flowing up out of 9 vines representing fruit from the world. The piece (beauty) has nine jewels flowing up from it represent 9 fruit of the Spirit.

I didn't do well in the contest, but I still like my theme thought/idea.
