Someone sent me an email and it is corrupting my email messages. I can not delete in because every time I try to right click it to delete it try downloading the message but there is nothing there. I have outlook express. Does any one know how I can delete this. I am tired of seeing the message error popups. It was not intentional for sure. Just need to find away to make it go away. Thanks

What email provider are you downloading from? It sounds like the email is still out on the server side. Many email providers have a web access point that you could go out to and delete the offending message from.

The problem is probably that you have the visualization window on and it tries to open the message each time you click on it. If you go to the display menu on top of outlook, and select i think it's setup, you should be able to deselect the vizualisation window. Then you can click once on the message and delete it. Hope this is clear enough, my outlook is in french so i'm not shure about the menu name.

What Dean is saying is what i would try. Go to your email address manually instead of going through outlook express. For example go to JT Clockman @ gmail dot com instead of opening outlook. From there you should be able to delete the offending email.

How do I do that??

Outlook is the program you use to read your email. Who is your email account set up with. What is your email address? The "@place.com" is nomrally your email account. It could be gmail, hotmail, yahoo, or something else.

John...

AOL is your provider. Thats what I was asking for. You can log into your mail without downloading it by going to http://webmail.aol.com
If you have a mail thats causing issues to download, you can delete it up there and it will never come down to outlook express.

I did this just now and by the way thanks for that. But I go to open my email again after rebooting and it is still there. I will try again. I am now getting all kinds of trouble messages on the outlook message board and it shuts the server down.
