How do you finish colorwood? What can be used on it to give high glass shine?

If its color wood in the same sense as diamondwood....
You can:
- sand it down to a fine grit
- use a little BLO to 'pop' the grain, make sure its dry, then
- use plastic polish to shine it right up
- apply some carnuba wax if desired.
I supposed you could use a beall, but I have not tried that yet.

Whats BLO?

Boiled Linseed Oil.
I use it on most pens that are wood-based. It really brings out the grain.

i've bought BLO, it doesn't seem to work. It makes the colorwood darker. The only thing i've done once was the 3 waxes with buffing.
