This one was more of an experiment more than anything else. I was curious on whether a stabilized blank could then be dyed. All in all I'm happy with the result. It was stabilized clear, turned to size and then dyed with blue trans tint dye. CA finish. I had intended on doing a custom finial, but this particular kit doesn't allow it, it's one piece. The pen is a Citizen.

Looks great Ken. Looks like you got good, even color penetration across the whole blank. Did you soak the blank in the dye, or just apply it topically?
