This Sierra was an experiment with a new way I am casting blanks lately. The beans seem to be a little denser and the colors are more attractive to me than the softer colored blanks. This one is a sky blue candy pearl. The finish is 6 coats of CA and micromesh to 12000.

Now that's something you don't see every day...

With the color, he beans look like they're just floating in a pool. Are they somehow spaced less densely than "normal"? The segmenting adds a real nice touch, too.

Thank you for all the nice comments. I am not a big fan of the coffee pens either but since I make them, I may as well turn a few. They don't smell after they are sealed, but that's okay because I don't drink coffee anyways. I'm not sure what the difference in the density is but I do make these blanks differently than most of the other coffee bean blanks are made and I think the beans may sit different this way, or it could be the colors making it appear differently.
