I would like to buy a collet chuck and collets. Does any one have any suggestions about which one is the best and where is the best place to buy one. Thanks for the info.

This is what I bought:

http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNSRIT?PMAKA=85146660&PMCTLG=00

It has a wide rage of collets (look at 180DA column):

The Bealle Collet chuck is about the same price and uses industry standard ER32 collets that I get for less ($9-$13) than the ones referenced here. I'm sure these are standard collets also. The Axminister is nice, uses less space, but the collets (I think they may be ER16s)only go to 1/2 inch. I need to hold stuff larger than 1/2" at times. Both the
Bealle and the Aximinister screw onto the head spidle.
Do a good turn daily!

Here is another alternative:

I have one and it works well, fits a MT2 also.
