Coffee Bean Pen Blanks

Here I have 28 Coffee Bean blanks. These started as a special request. I went ahead and cast most of the bean I bought up because if I didn't they would have been wasted. These will likely be a one time deal unless someone specifically asks for more. I may cast the rest as bottle stoppers this weekend.

Each blank is 0.75"sq x 5.25". There may bee small divots on the tops of some where the resin sank down under pressure but I am sure that will turn off before it is round. During cutting I did not find a single air bubble in these. they were cast in 5.25"sq x 1.875" blocks so I was cutting into the middle of the blanks to get these out and they were clean.

BEANS ARE NOT STABILIZED and they smell great because of that. Sharp tools, light cuts are a must. I would soak them in Thin CA to really bond the beans in and a little instant coffee on the side to fill any voids in the beans wont hurt either.

Cast using Alumilite Urethane Resin

Blanks are a steal at $8 each.

All blanks of the same color came from the same block so you can just tell me how many you want of each color because they are all the same.
