All the media quit hiring literate people and journalists when their bosses said they wanted more profits. Accuracy doesn't count any more, just sensationalization.:tongue:
 
I'm forwarding the link to my Australian mother-in-law. She is always amazed at how little most Americans, including many media types, know about the "outside world"...
 
Do you mean to tell me that, Queensland and, Queenstown are NOT the same??? :eek::biggrin:

For years when you wanted a job as a reporter you were interviewed by the networks best reporters. If you were any good they thought to themselves "this guy is pretty good and will make me look bad", you didn't get the job and they looked for somebody a little dumber. Eventually the dumber new guy got the job of interviewing the new hires and he thought - "this guy is pretty good and will make me look bad". This trend has continued for several years and today you are seeing the results.
