Here we have one of my fav pens I've made so far. This is a closed end black cigar made with Amboyna Burl. Man is this wood awesome  Had to redo the original CA finish bc of a low spot on the end. This finish is 12 coats thin CA, Buffed with Tripoli & White Diamond, PlastX polish, and Ren wax. When taking photos I use different colored peices of felt as backgrounds...well I found out the black felt makes this wood look on FIRE! I'll post those pics after this one. Thanks for looking and as always any comments/questions appreciated!

Beautiful wood... I like the pen as well. How do you plan to carry/use it? I'm always curious about how people use clipless pens.

Really cool Babe! More your style pen than mine but the wood is remarkable and the finish is superb! Great work! (And I know how much work you had to put into it)

As of right now it is going in my display case for show/sale. Hans will be doing a hidden clip demo soon for our local pen club soon and I'm debating on giving it a try. I have the original clip as well as some metal rod I can bend into a clip. I've read alot of the tutorials here but I'm a visual learner more than anything so I don't mind waiting. I might not do it at all bc I really do like it this way.
