I have several sets of nice blanks that I found in the shop. The prices listed do not include shipping. I will put up to 3 sets in a flatrate envelope for $5.00 conus. Paypal, check, cash. Please post which ones you want and then PM me for payment info.
SOLD PS-1 is 4 Pomelle Sapele blanks 5"+ long x 13/16" sq. $8
SOLD AB-1 is 4 Amboyna Burl blanks 5" long x 1" sq. with some obvious "character embellishments" $12
SOLD. COL-1 is 4 VERY unusual Coolibah Burl blanks 5"+ long x 3/4" sq. What makes these unusual is that the burl was burned while still small and that can cause some incredible figure and color that just doesnt happen otherwise. Most burl has good figure on one side and boring on the other. Not this. Its great all the way around. Ive been hanging on to a small quantity of this for 10 years (I still have a set for me). These are not for the new turner. There are checks and defects that need to be dealt with. Well worth the effort considering you may never see this color and figure again. I have a couple more sets, but these are the most solid. $12
SOLD. JB-1 is 5 Jarrah Burl blanks 5" long x 13/16" sq. Before the casting craze, these blanks were a PITA. Now they are a great opportunity. These are really deep red, with beautiful figure. I cast mine in black PR and they are really cool. Things are so much better with the ability to cast at home. $10
