I cut a piece from a scrap I picked up at timeless timber. They claim some of the wood has been in the lake for over a hundred years.

I have read about that wood. I have never seen it but they say its extremely hard. Very sharp looking pen. The grain is fantastic.

I have been to the Timeless timbers store on the south side of the big lake, and they do have wood that old, but they also import a lot of other wood in.
Nice pen.
