Four Sierra blanks, two have circles and two have hexagons. I'm thinking of leaving one of each as is, and fill with CA and painting the other two. Trying to figure out if I can just paint the whole blank or if I need to hand paint each little circle or hex. To my eye these small patterns are leaps and bounds better than a larger design wrapped around. Ideas on the painting are welcomed.

! would paint all over , sand , then CA , but perhaps the designer needs some punishment for making these blanks , and should do the engravings individually . Agree , looks much better than a large image wrapped around the blank , but a bit too busy to my eyes .

Well I'm back to the drawing board on these. There're not working out. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing wrong. There's no a lot of info out there on what I'm trying. Good thing you learn a lot from your failures 😂
