Think I'll call this crosscut Yellowheart the "grip-o-lot".

Wow! And Wow! Again! I love it! I keep tellin' everybody you can do as much or more with a Cigar as you can any Slimline! Just beautiful!

Donning my body armor and protective head gear...This one is not one of my favorites, Ed. To my eye, it lacks the balance that is so prominent in your pen art. For me, this is a case of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". All of that being said, it gets a 10 for technical merit...your fit and finish are impeccable.

I think it is a beautifully done pen. It is well designed, the balance is perfect, and the form and proporation are excellent. And it is artfully turned, as with all your work.

I am in the not crazy about the design camp. But you did a fantastic job on that pen. To turn the grip part and not have a notch out of any one of those pointed things is a wonder of pen turning art. Even more special being cross cut wood. How did you finish it? Get the finish down in those v shape grooves? Great work there.
