I recently got a couple of the Cigar Click kits from Exotic. The build was simple, straight forward. End result is very nice.
The only downer for me is quality of the click mechanism. Its just not a nice warm fuzzy feeling click.
Honestly it feels cheap. I took it out and closely examined it. Can't really see anything obvious wrong.
I'm not here bashing there kits. I've made plenty of them and normally there awesome.
Any thoughts?

Haven't tried those. Took a run with the PSI click cigars, and had some problems with the clicker mechanism as well. The top would pop off, or rotate funny. Was disappointed, but watching this thread because I love the form factor.

The cigar click has been introduced and discontinued more than once.

The version we currently offer is OK, not great. I have made a couple, they seem easy to assemble and they don't SEEM to be super "size critical". This is NOT a strong endorsement!! But if you really want to make a click cigar, I think this is an economical option!

We also offer the Big Ben (PSI) click pen that now is using the Schmidt mechanism. It is more expensive, but I have much greater confidence in its' performance. ( search Exotic Blanks for "Big Ben EDC Click Pen")

We try to give YOU the choice.

I respect your candor regarding a product line, especially in a time where such behavior seems too rare. Thank you, Mr. Brown!
