Someone gave the Center for the Blind some of the old Rockler cigar pens called the Plateau, but no bushings for them.

Since they no longer carry the kit, I need to find bushings for this kit. The cap bushings are 12.4mm and the barrel bushings are 10.1mm. Is there another cigar kit out there that uses these same size bushings that I could buy to use with these kits? Does their Cuban use the same size bushings?

I looked in the library, but the bushings table in there is five years old.

If you are referring to the table dated 7-23-2010 by wracinowski, almost all of the information is currently relevant. For example, if you buy a set of cigar bushings from Berea, the dimensions will match the dimensions in the table.

The Plateau must be a very old kit because it doesn't get a mention in the 5-yr old table.

There is no "Cuban" in the table, but there is a "Cubana", with standard size cigar bushings.

You will notice if you search for "cigar" in that table that most, if not all, cigar pens have 4 different-sized bushings: 0.475", 0.575", 0.530", and 0.469". So I expect that the kit you have also requires 4 bushings if it is truly a cigar style. If you want those dimensions in mm, multiple by 25.4. But you specified only 2 dimensions and neither of them matches any of the 4 bushing sizes for standard cigar pens. I suspect yours is not a cigar.

The Rockler "Cuban" is a fairly new pen and is not mentioned in the 5-yr old table which I (and maybe you) referred to. If you look it up on the Rockler website, you will be able to read the instruction sheet, which gives the bushing dimensions in millimeters as:
12.0mm 14.5mm 13.4mm 11.6mm - which translate to 0.472" 0.571" 0.528" 0.457"

If those Cuban dimensions are correct they seem to differ a little from the most common (ie. standard) cigar bushings in the table.

Not much help, eh? Well, I gave it my best shot !!

I was mistaken in thinking they were cigar kits. There were a couple of cigar kits in the box, and ten Plateau kits. I thought they were all the same. My error for not examining them closely. Every supplier has it's own name for the various kits (Sierra, Wallstreet, Gatsby, etc.) and I thought Plateau was another name for a cigar pen. The local Rockler store gave me bushings for the kits, but they are too complex for the blind turners to do. So I will turn them and donate them to the Center's gift shop to sell. Thank you all for your help.

I have the Plateau ballpoint pen bushings in front of me.

10.1mm and 12.4mm

I'll send them and over a dozen of the kits if you'd like, Sharon.

Thanks, Mark, but they are going to be too difficult for the visually impaired turners to manage.
