I just finished these up. The top is Walnut Crotch with Buckeye Burl Ash. The bottom is a Cambridge. The dark brown is actual tobacco leaf with matching cigar bands cast in resin. I found the box and cut a piece of foam to fit and lined it with material. All questions and comments welcome.

Thanks for the complements guys. The pens took some time and the Opus X Boxes are hard to come by for me anyways. When I ran across the box I knew right off what I wanted to do with it. Luckily I had the right cigar bands to make it match.

Those are awesome. Is the banding put into the resin? Or do you add these before finish? I'd love to be able to do stuff like that. Very nice work Kenny!

Thanks Again. The wooden one is finished with ting oil. When dry I'll glue the bands on last. That's why I put both bands on the cap so they won't get worn quickly if you use the pen. With the Cambridge I wrap the tobacco around the tube then the band. When that is completely dry I cast the tubes and turn.
