Here is what I completed today(only turned, all other work done prior to today). The first one is an Art Deco ballpoint by David Broadwell using a casted label in PR.
The second pen is a Sierra chrome and black with a casted label for a local business.
The third pen is a Gentlemen's pen with Rhodium plating and my first shot at casting pheasant feathers. Now, obviously JohnT's blanks look way better but these turned out fabulous for a first time at it!

All comments/ criticisms welcome!

Love the feathers!! Great work.

Thanks!! I'm not sure how others do it, but I had to painstakingly glue each and every feather onto the painted tube with CA. I let them sit for over a month(oops, forgot about them), but amazingly, no silvery spots or air pockets! They were quite the challenge:rolleyes:

Seamus, The pens look awesome!! I love the feathers...look very nice !!
You truly have a gift for this! Merry Christmas Seamus. Regards, Doc

They all look great, but the first one really grabs my attention. If you don't mind me asking, what's the story behind it?

Way to go Seamus, you have three great pens there. The feather blanks are beautiful. You did a great job on them. Congratulations.
Charles
