Ok, I'll admit. I am frugal (i.e cheap bas***d). I have been turning for over 20 years, and have never been satisfied with how I sharpen my spindle gouge. And too cheap to do it right. Exclusively on my benchtop belt sander. I thought I would try this. Did not realize it won't work for spindle gouges. If anyone wants it, just pay shipping, maybe send me back a cool blank
I think I'll break down and get a wolverine, fortunately I already have a bench grinder.
This is for the PennState Turncrafter lathes. The nut is 1"x8 TPI It's in perfect condition used only a few times. Pic show
