checkerboard blanks

I am looking for a source for checkerboard laminated blanks. The ones I am looking for are those that are checkerboard when you look at the end of the blank, not down the length.
Basically 4 various colored strips of material are laminated lengthwise to form the checkerboard. Usually a maple and something contrasting. My previous source disappeared on me and making them myself is less than exciting.
