Here's a cheap and easy way to make a tube sander and save some money until you can afford a seperate tool. Just take the cutting head off off your tube mill, put a piece of sticky sandpaper on the smooth side with a hole in the middle to accept the shaft, and put it back together with the sandpaper out. Mine works great. I'm sure a dedicated sander is much better, but this will work until you can spring for one.

That suggestion was made by someone else here a year or more ago; but it is a great idea and well worth mentioning again. I've been using it for quite some time now and it works just fine. I don't even bother with the sticky sandpaper. The regular stuff works just fine.​
 
another cheap way,
small 2" sanding disk held in headstock, pen mill pilot held id tail stock to support blank , advance tube into sander by hand.
with velcro backed sanding disks no need to punch holes just use it till it needs replacing then shift it over 1/2" offcenter
