Ok well I had to replace all my tools so went back to the Orange box store and picked up a Roybi 6" bench grinder, since that is the one I had before, 44.00 plus tax. Got it home and setup for the most part.
Looked at the Blue Guys store and they have a Pro-Tech for 44 bucks, sounded like a step above HF so passed on it for the roybi.
Well I was out at Garage sale yesterday and they had a brand new still shrink wrapped Pro-tech for 20 bucks! So I grabbed it and thought Hey if it works i can return the roybi and save 25 bucks. Got it home and setup, No way! This is really one step above the HF ones and at least a step below the roybi for the same price. A lot bulkier, the metal casting for the base leave a lot to be desired for mounting and it vibrates 10 times worse then the roybi..
So I am sticking with what I know works, and just wanted to let anyone that is looking for inexpensive grinders, stick with a name. As for me and the pro-tech? Well its on the opposite side of the bench now with a 6" spiral buffing wheel on one side (HUT ppp step 1) and a 6" loose buffing wheel on the other (hut PPP step 2) for a dedicated 20 dollar buffing station..
