I wanted to extend an invitation to all for The Turning Saturday 2010 Event. It will be held in Champaign, IL on November 6th, 2010. It is the third year our club has been involved. It will be a day of woodturning demos and hands-on by members of 3 different clubs in Central IL. There will be 16 scheduled sessions, for the incredible price of $20 admission. It will be held at the same location as The Midwest Penturners Gathering, with all the info in the link included. It will be limited to 70 people, and we have 38 signed up. There will also be an instant gallery, and raffle. I'm doing a hands-on for lidded boxes, so you could even go home with a little gift for your loved one.
