First few tries at a Celtic Knot. Or is this a cross? Hrm.

nice knot work, actually the second one almost looks like an early days Nuclear Energy Dept. warning still both are pretty cool, what did you use for a finish?? so far all I've done them in has bee PR so finish is no problem, but I've wondered about a durable finish on wood.

Celtic Knot - maybe. Celtic Cross - probably not. Celtic interlace - perhaps that's a better term. Lissajous figure - technically exact, but few of us can pronounce it.
