Cats are cool, this is Natasha and Olivia. Almost forgot the old lady of the house. Fluffy (granddaughter named her), she is a Maine Coon that we salvaged from the shelter, it was her last day there when my wife found her.

Here's my two. PITA and Oliver. PITA (Pain in the ...) is my shop kitty. She "helps" in the shop. When I go down to work she will beat me to the shop and will be sitting waiting for me. Oliver could care less and just likes to lay around.

I am an all around animal lover myself. I love cats in the house as they are always fun and you never know what they are up to. Cats are more independent than dogs I think, I am not sure if that is good or bad.

Rascal, Bandit, and Sneakers. All were ferals, Bandit from a litter a feral female had in my backyard, and Rascal was a wild barn cat in Flagstaff when she adopted us. Sneakers (the tuxedo cat in the tree) is a feral I trapped five years ago in my backyard and had neutered and turned loose again. He was just too old to make a house pet, but he has been with us for 5 years now. I think he and Bandit are littermates. Rascal and Bandit are lapcats deluxe.

Here are our cats, Coco, Richard and Pancakes.

Coco has probably put on a few more pounds since her lobster adventures but she is still the pretty kitty! I swear Richard is the smartest cat known to man even though the he doesn't appear to be with his tail sitting in the dirty dishwater. And Pancakes is a budding kitty model who has actually gotten his picture in a magazine!

Gem was a rescue and is about 2 yrs old. Here is her favorite position. Although it is very cute the birds don't like it very much. Next is Lucky who was found in a garage at work and is coming up to 1 yr. Here she got tired of waiting for Santa Clause and dozed off. Last is one of their favorite places to sleep during the winter months as it is the only place in the house that gets sun on the floor.

This is Sammy. She is 17 years old. She really lives next door but she comes over and visits all the time. We give her milk and feed her (yes, we have a supply of cat food). Sometimes she stays for only a few minutes but sometimes over night. Her longest stay was for 3 days. As you can see she is more than a lap cat, she's a laptop cat!

We fostered a mother cat from the humane society. She promptly gave birth to these four kittens. When they were 5 weeks old, we learned of another set of kittens who had lost their mother. We slowly (1 every few days) added those 5 kittens to the batch. Molly, the mother cat, took them in as her own.
The second photo is of Wilson, one of the kittens from the second batch. Always frantically trying to "nurse", his sister wouldn't leave him alone....... hence the makeshift diaper. It didn't stay on long.

After the second batch was old enough for adoption, Molly's reward was a trip to the Humane Society for an operation and now is one of our permanant residents.

Wilson was the friendliest of all the kittens and my wife just couldn't part with him (the one pitfall of being a host family). He enjoys accompanying me whenever I turn, often leaping on to my shoulders to get a better view.

Frosty is a black cat. I got him when he was abandond at about 3 weeks old. 1st mistake.....Do not feed a stray smoked turkey. You can never have turkey or chicken around again unless you want to be molested by a cat. LOL In the winter, he has white hair in his black coat that looks like frost on him ergo his name. Got him some food, litter and a box (that did not make my ex happy at first). Showed him the box, ears back and enjoyed it...came back to me and crawled up the chair, lap and chest to lick my face. To this day he lays in my lap and next to me at night in bed. Cat on the right, dog on the left or at my feet.
