hi,
Just got my order from Caswell Plating, wich contains 1 bar of Plastic-Glo (ultrafine) and one bar of Plastic buffing Compound (fine). Problem is, neither one is lableled in any way. Both say "FORMAX". One is white, the other is off-white, almost beige.

Can anybody tell me which is which. They are closed 'till Monday.

Any help is appreciated.
thanks,
joec

Formax

Hi,

The white one is Formax Ultra 6163, the coarsest one to use first.

The off white one is Formax Fine 6165, the finer of the two to use last. I know it doesn't make perfect sense but I didn't name them, just use them.

Hello Joec. Larry is right you use the white first and the beige second.I have been using this for about a year now and really like it.
Happy turning!
