Is it possible to cast resin with a "transparent pink" color ?

The only primary color transparent dye kits I can find are Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Looking for a transparent White dye that I can mix with transparent Red to create a transparent Pink.[?]

Does a "transparent white" dye color even exist ?

Thanks

The liquid dyes from art stuff are transparent. I think they have 1-20 different liquids, and at least one pink color. Here is a link to their web site, unfortunately they don't list the colors on the web site so you have to call:

Hope this helps.

We got a pretty awesome transparent swirly metallic pink using Pearl Ex powdered pigments. They are kinda expensive, but a little goes a long way.

Hiya Gordon,
How transparant did you want the blank ??
  • crystal clear like glass (of course, you will see the tubes and glue, unless you PC the tube white (or pink as Scott suggested) and cast directly in the resin)
  • lots of depth, and a little substance in the mix (think Skim milk with extra water)
  • with pearl as a base, you can definitely get it 'pink'
