Seems to me that a while ago I saw a post about casters that attach directly to the legs of bandsaws. Anyone remember seeing that? It even had a webiste to puchase them from.

If you need to move your bands saw often and it has an open base Look into the Herculift+ set up by RIGID sold at the Orange Box store.
With the press of a foot pedal you raise the saw about 3/4 inch.To lower it you press a relase with your foot and the saw rops back down on it legs.
I have one on my Grizzly tablesaw and I love it.
It is designed to work with most open base tools

They are swivel casers so it doesn't need to be steered like a fork lift that only turns on one end.
If your saw ahas a closed base you are out of luck,
