Cassarole carrier

Finished up a couple of these for a friend of ours who got some orders for them from her ladies group.

It's a cassarole dish carrier made from laminated pieces. I used oak, maple, cherry and mahogany. The holes are for some dowels to hold the dish in place while carrying it. The dowels are carried in some strips on the underside of the board. I just rub it down with mineral oil for the finish.

Great idea and execution Bobby. I have seen several different styles of carriers but not this one with the dowels like that. I plan on making some of the other styles for some upcoming shows.

great thinking, using the dowels to stop the dish. Heck, I just dropped a casarole dish on the kitchen floor and spilled all my chicken out that I made for dinner, last week.
