Carnuba Wax

Hello,

I've been finishing my pens with the BLO/CA process mostly, but recently purchased a buffing kit that includes a rock hard bar of Carnuba wax. Hoe does the Carnuba compare to CA and friction polishes. Will it last a long time, or wear off quickly?

Carnuba will wear off fairly quickly with regular handleing. Most people use it on top of a finish not as the finish.
