Care to Help me....

Hello everyone.

1st I must say that I love this site, even though I'm new I am loving this hobby. My work is getting better and better, but far from you pro's. Thank you for all your advice.

Now for my asking for help. I am participating in the American Heart Walk to support my sister-in-law and in honor of my father. In another forum I belong to I decided to offer pens to the first 20 donors...was a great success. These people were not pen turners or even in the crafts, but are very appreciative of the gesture.

So, with trepidation I come here.... As I've stated, I'm fairly new to turning so don't expect world class pens. But I'm offering to do pens for the first 5 people who donate at my heartwalk site. Heart Walk 2008 Please PM me so I know who you are and who donated so I can get you pen to you.

The pens will be Euro's with either wood or acrylic..if acrylic please choose a blank from woodcrafters.

Only have funds for 5 pens...so the first 5 get them. Offer ends Friday 9/26

Read her story. She's gotta be a strong gal for staying with all she's gone thru. We all wish her the best of luck. She'll make that walk hands down. Wish her & hubby a good trip, walk & 2nd honeymoon. Thats a real nice pen there.

Thanks for the well wishes.....I've reached my fundraising goal. So I can't offer more pens...budget won't allow it.
