Carbide Tooling Poll

I have ordered some carbide inserts from Ken (shhh..don't tell my wife!). I plan on making a series of tools (used to work in a machine shop in a past life). I was just wondering how many of you actually use the carbide tools to turn your pens?

I use them from start to finish. I have 3 of them now and they are my main tools.

Use them for turning metals.

I have the small round carbide pen tool from Thingswestern. I like it on acrylics. I want to get one of Kens carbides for turning blanks, but will have to wait until the cash is available.
