I looked through the reference charts and can't find out what the sizes of the tubes on the Triton fountain pen. I am pretty sure they are the 10.5 lower and 12.5 cap, but cant find the lengths to see if I can start working with tubes from a JR Gent 2 until my triton components arrive. Can someone PLEASE help!

Thanks in advance!

I thought the length were different between the kits. I know the bushings work and the tube diameter is the same. I Googled it and couldn't find sny lengths for you.

Mason the cap tube on the Triton is identical to the Jr II, the lower barrel is slightly shorter... 14/64 shorter IIRC.

Subbing the Jr II tubes shouldn't be a problem on a FTN, for a RB you might have to stretch the spring a bit.

The Triton "body" is just about a quarter inch shorter than the Junior series.

So you COULD shorten the tube OR you can make the pen on Junior tubes and add a longer spring, if you are making the rollerball. IF you are making a fountain pen, there is no need for the spring, so no adjustments are necessary.

(My personal OPINION: The triton looks great in the longer body)

Edit in: you may have guessed, Dawn and I don't consult on our entries on IAP--so sometimes we both answer a question!!
