The story begins, I went to my family doctor for a check up. I gave him one of the Cancer Awareness Pens I had made. During the exam he noticed a spot on my face. He did a Biopsy, it was skin cancer. Yesterday I had it removed, what started out as a dime sized spot wound up being the size and shape of an egg on my upper cheek. They had to use skin from my cheek to cover up the wound. I know have half of my face bandaged, and a drain tube to drain. The doctor said he gave me a partial face lift.

I quess the Cancer Awareness Pen worked..... If you see a spot on your skin, have it checked out. I never thought that it could effect so big of an area. It's a good thing a Plastic Surgeon did the job, hopefully the scar won't be too bad.

Thanks for reading, Dave

That is the hope for "Cancer Awareness project"!!!

If you catch it early, there is a great probability of complete removal!!

If you see a spot, ASK a doctor---- be "Aware"!!

Hope you enjoy a speedy and complete recovery!!!

Wishing you a speedy recovery, as you caught it in time, I recently lost my brother to cancer.
If it was from your butt cheek, just think yourself lucky when the MI kisses you on the cheek.
