This is a question for anyone who has CA sensitivity and experienced the 3-4 days of flu like symptoms.

Did your symptoms include a fever for the 3-4 days?

I have some symptoms, but they started a little differently than the way a cold/flu usually starts, and I've had a fever for 3 days (up to about 100).

The reason I ask is that I would not expect an alergic reaction to cause the fever, so it may just be the flu.

Thanks

I get a raspy cough, and them my sinuses go into overdrive for days. No fever, no nausea, though. I was miserable until I figured out what it was. When I have to use CA, I wear a half respirator and LOTS of ventilation. I am trying to work on my plexi-finish to avoid it all together.

Good luck!

Maybe its the flu Dennis, give it a few days and see what happens, the next time you use ca if it comes back them you can be sure is the ca.There is also an odorless ca that I have seen on wooden wonders its pretty expensive.I have not tried it either just a thought.

CA = ventilation, ventilation, and plenty of ventilation.

If you use it a lot now and it is bothering you this bad I would tend to believe that you have become sensitized to it. And if you have become sensitive to the chemicals the effects on you will more than likely get worse with each use.

Being allergic is one thing, but becoming sensitized to something is far worse as it's attack on your system grows and grows with each contact and your body can no longer protect and repair itself. Kinda like too much of a good thing can hurt you.
