Ok, so today I was working on a Purpleheart Euro style pen. Everything went well untill after the pen sat on the bench for a couple minutes then i noticed it was really clouded. I sanded to 400, then used EEE, then I applied my ca/blo finish. Finish was beautiful, just really cloudy underneath. So my question is, is Purple heart to oily of a wood for this finish? If so what would you all reccomend as an alternative. When i first started i used the friction polishes, but i love the look of the CA finish. Any help you all have would be apperciated. Thanks.
