Joe (turbowagon) received one of my Carbon Fiber Sierra Blanks not too long ago and wondered about the quarter thickness over the CF and how much room was left to the bushing diameter. In the process of taking these pictures, I realized that there really isnt alot of room left over using the standard sierra pen kit. The Best solution: To use either the Sierra Vista or the Wall Street III pen kit. So, below are my findings:

This is the Sierra bushing:

This picture shows the calipers after measuring the quarter and how much room is left to turn on the Sierra Vista.

This picture shows the Sierra bushing and the calipers, notice the calipers are at the same diameter as the quarter.

Well, this is how a Tx Tru-Quarter™ looks on the Sierra Vista. It probably would have looked even better on a Plat/Ti Sierra vista, but I didn't know who sold them at the time this pen was made. This is one of my many daily carry pens.
