I'm out of ICU now and had A-fib this morning. It took about 10 hours of treatment to correct the problem. They are taking me for walks for a few days now. I am up to 600 ft this morning.
Glad all is going well for you.... on the A-fib, my wife has had A-fib since she was 26 years old -- she's 78 now - a couple of years back they put in a pacemaker to try and s top them... seems to have worked.... she's not complained of any since.... she's also had open heart surgery to replace her Mitral valve... might ask your cardiologist his opinion... everyone is different and might not be your solution.

Paul, prayers coming your way. As many have said that procedure has changed alot in the past years. My sister had it done 3 years ago and it was nothing like my Dad's some 25 years ago. Just listen to doctors and do what they say.

When I had AFib, it took about that long to get me out of it, but it took months for them to figure out that it was sleep apnea that caused it. When you are feeling better you might want to sign up for a sleep study.
