So my old bench top drill press is wearing out and I want to get a floor model. Anyone have any opinions on what to get or find a great deal recently. All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
I bought the Ridgid 15 inch floor model from HD. It was $299. I got a lifetime warranty from Ridgid and 12 months same as cash from HD. It has a 5/8 chuck, quill travel of 3 3/4 inches and is very precise....especially for a $300 drill press.
 
I will be using it mostly for pen making but of course it will get to do anything that comes up. I am looking at a floor unit because my bench is crowded.
