i have access to a pile of Mekong tulip i am told its a rosewood family from china. it sure looks similar. feel free to pm me i can even get bord foot of it.

I am posting in this reply in case i am wrong of it being in the rosewood family maybe someone has a different comment.

Hi Bon, I just brought a few rosewood boards back to Texas from Pa. in my work shop today. Not sure exactly which type of roewood it is, I'm thinking East India but not sure. May be two types there. Could just a few blanks be cut and shipped with out any trouble?

what I search for is Dalbergia Nigra

They are the same. I had ordered some about two months ago and they have the same sweet smell that Brazilian Rosewood. Color is the same.
You can send them an email and get your answer, but i am 99.9% positive its the same.
